Technology at your service

RFID or Radio Frequency Identification is a method that can be used to memorise and retrieve data remotely. The system is activated by a transfer of electromagnetic energy between a radio label and an RFID emitter. The radio label containing an electronic chip and an antenna receives the radio signal emitted by the reader, which is also equipped with RFID technology. The components can be used to both read and respond to signals.

This technology serves many purposes in the textile sector: identification, traceability, anti-theft device, storage and stocktaking, access control and more

Technical features

Technology

  • Adapted frequencies

  • Various antenna lengths

Self-adhesive

  • RFID chips inserted under self-adhesive labels

  • Self-adhesive RFID chips

  • Iron-on RFID chips

(Washable) linen

  • RFID chips for textile labels

  • RFID chips integrated into gummed labels

RFID linen labels have to be able to withstand the most rigorous laundry environments, including sterilisation, high-pressure water extractors, high temperatures and repeated washing and drying cycles.
